Weight: 30lbs
Estimated birthday: 11/13/2023
Zorah is a gentle, sensitive soul whos learning what it means to feel safe and loved. At around 1 1/2 years old and 30 pounds, she came from a difficult hoarding situation alongside several other dogs. Because of that, she didnt get the care or attention she deserved early in life and arrived very underweight—but shes now on the road to recovery and gaining strength every day.
Zorah can be shy at first and will need a patient, understanding adopter whos willing to give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell. Once she begins to trust you, youll see her sweet nature start to shine through.
Shes looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to build confidence and learn what it truly means to be part of a family. With kindness, consistency, and a little patience, Zorah has all the potential to blossom into a devoted companion.
If you have a gentle heart and are willing to go at her pace, Zorah will be so worth it.
She is:
Fully vaccinated, microchipped, & spayed
Kennel & potty trained

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
*All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
