Meet Luna!
If sunshine, happiness, and cuddles were somehow turned into a dog, her name would be Luna. This gorgeous 1-year-old Pit Bull/Staffy mix has a stunning slate-gray coat, soulful eyes, and the biggest smile you've ever seen. Seriously-Luna always looks like she just heard the best joke in the world. Her goofy expressions, happy face, and constant grin make it impossible not to smile right back at her.
Luna's superpower is love. Her foster says she is one of the cuddliest dogs they've ever met. This girl wants to be as close to her people as physically possible. Sitting next to you? Great. Curled up against you? Even better. If Luna had her way, she'd probably spend her entire day snuggled up on the couch getting belly rubs and reminding you how much she loves you.

When she's not busy being a professional cuddle bug, Luna enjoys hanging out with her dog friends, exploring the yard, and soaking up the sunshine. In fact, one of her dream jobs would probably be "Backyard Sunbathing Supervisor." She would absolutely love a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs, sniff around, roll in the grass, and find the perfect sunny spot for an afternoon nap.
Luna currently lives with a large dog and two cats and does wonderfully with both. Her dog sibling is her best friend they play together, cuddle together, and generally act like they've been besties forever. She's also respectful with cats and has shown she can peacefully share her home with feline friends.
While Luna enjoys having dog companions, she's not interested in drama. She has great social skills, communicates appropriately with other dogs, and prefers friendly, easygoing canine friends. She's confident enough to stand up for herself when needed, but she's much more interested in making friends than causing trouble.
She has met a teenager and has proven to be a loving, affectionate family dog. Because she can be a little enthusiastic and still needs testing with younger children, we'd love to chat with potential adopters about the best fit for her! We can do whatever testing is needed for any potential adopters.
Luna enjoys walks, loves being with her people, and is happiest when she's included in whatever you're doing. Whether that's a neighborhood stroll, a lazy Sunday on the couch, or relaxing in the backyard sunshine, Luna is simply happy to be by your side.
If you're looking for a dog with a million-dollar smile, a heart full of love, and enough cuddles to last a lifetime, Luna is ready to be your new best friend.

At our 2-acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dogs growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap-ranging from $100-$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
