DESCRIPTION

If you’re looking for a dog that’s equal parts lovable goofball, affectionate cuddle buddy, backyard adventure pal, and giant squishy-headed best friend… King Bubbaloo might honestly be your guy. This boy has the SWEETEST energy about him and carries himself with this happy lovable “I’m just excited to be here” attitude everywhere he goes. Between the honey brown eyes, the giant pittie smile, and the way he immediately flops over for belly rubs like he’s been waiting his whole life for you specifically to pet him, King is the kind of dog that makes people fall for him really fast. He has one of those personalities that feels warm and familiar almost instantly, like reconnecting with an old friend you forgot you missed.

King Bubbaloo is believed to be an American Staffy mix approximately 3 years old and currently weighs 59 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What we CAN guarantee though is that this boy is ridiculously affectionate and fully believes physical touch is his love language. King is the type of dog that will lovingly place his paw on you for attention, stare up at you with those soft honey brown eyes, and melt into your side on the couch like he’s trying to become one with the blankets LOL. He is also super squishable too. Who doesn’t love a lovable hunk that you can squish?!

King absolutely LOVES people. Like truly. Every new person he meets is greeted like an old friend he hasn’t seen in years. He’s sweet, people-oriented, affectionate, and honestly has a very soft submissive demeanor with humans from everything we’ve seen so far. He loves attention, loves being included, and seems happiest when he’s simply near his people soaking up affection and quality time. Whether he’s laying beside you during movie night, hanging out while you work in the yard, or following you around the house just to see what you’re doing, King really thrives on companionship and connection.

King has been around his foster’s 8-month-old granddaughter and honestly? Watching this giant squishy-headed meatball carefully exist around a tiny baby was ridiculously cute LOL. Even though he absolutely has the size and enthusiasm of a big goofy boy, he really seemed to understand that she was little and fragile and toned himself down naturally around her. He wasn’t trying to bulldoze into her space or smother her with affection. Instead, he just calmly hung out nearby with his sweet “happy to be included” attitude and saved his big boy wiggles for the adults. Of course, because he is a larger dog there’s always the possibility of accidental bumps with little kiddos, but overall King gave off major lovable family dog energy and seemed genuinely content just being part of the family chaos.

He is dog friendly and has met a handful of dogs all with different personalities and he is also fostered in a multi-dog household, 8 actually in total! Just like his name, King is the bossman out of the bunch in his foster home. His best friend in the home is a male lab that his foster says gets along with everyone. When King plays, he has a very classic happy-go-lucky bully boy play style. Think chase games, goofy rumble-and-tumble wrestling, full body wiggles, bouncing around like a goober, and lots of vocal grumbly play commentary LOL. He’s the type of dog that gets REALLY excited during play and can sometimes get a little carried away in the fun, so his ideal doggy match would be a confident female that enjoys a more rowdy play style, isn’t bothered by vocal play noises, and naturally knows how to take breaks when needed. King responds really well to dogs that help keep play balanced and easygoing. He would also do totally fine as your one-and-only dog too because at the end of the day, people are really his favorite thing anyway. Not only is he in a foster home with 8 other dogs, but his foster also has 4 cats! King free roams with the cats in the home and the foster has said he gets along beautifully with them. He also had a chance to meet a new cat and he did really well then too.

King is crate trained, potty trained, eager to please, and very food motivated which makes training fun and rewarding with him. He already knows commands like sit and honestly seems like the type of dog that would LOVE puzzle toys, snuffle mats, learning tricks, and anything that lets him use his brain while hanging out with his people. He has a really nice medium energy overall and feels very adaptable depending on the lifestyle around him. Want to go explore a trail, take a mini roadtrip, or spend time outside? King is absolutely down. Want to spend the entire day rotting on the couch binge watching your favorite show wrapped in blankets? King has already claimed his cuddle spot next to you or your lap LOL.

His ideal home would probably include a backyard where he can stretch his legs, sunbathe dramatically, keep you company while gardening, or just exist outside enjoying the fresh air with his people nearby. King truly feels like one of those dogs that just wants to be included in life. He doesn’t need anything extravagant to be happy. A comfy couch, people to love, snacks, belly rubs, and some sunshine? Honestly, that sounds like his dream life right there.

We are willing to test King Bubbaloo with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
