Rescued from the Harris County euthanasia list in Houston, Carlitos was given a second chance because someone looked beyond his circumstances and saw the wonderful dog he truly is. Today, he's receiving heartworm treatment, getting stronger every day, and patiently waiting for the family he's always deserved.
At approximately four years old, Carlitos has found that wonderful balance between playful curiosity and calm companionship. He enjoys life's simple pleasures—a leisurely walk, a soft bed, a favorite toy, and most of all, spending time with the people he loves.

He has kind, soulful eyes that seem to say, "I've been waiting for you."
