Rousey - American Staffordshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Detroit, Michigan

Rousey is a gentle soul who was recently rescued with her puppies from under an abandoned home. She has finished raising her babies and is rediscovering what it’s like to simply be a dog. She’s learning that couches are comfy, toys are fun, and that people can be trusted.

She can be a little cautious at first (aren't we all?), but once she realizes you’re safe, her walls come down quickly and she becomes one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She wants nothing more than to follow her people from room to room before curling up beside them for a nap.

She is great with children, dog friendly with slow intros, cat curious and a champion cuddler. She’s truly the total package. You could say she's a knock out!



Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
