Meet Kila! Kila is estimated to be about 2 years old and is thought to be an American Staffordshire Terrier-type mix.

Unfortunately, Kila was part of a recent abandonment situation, and from what we understand she had been in unstable living situations prior to that. Eventually she was appropriately surrendered to us. Because of what she's been through, we want to make sure Kila finds the best new family who will give her a loving, stable home with lots of love!

Kila was immediately friendly with us and seems to really love people. Once we gathered more information, we learned that Kila does know some basic commands, and has lived with other dogs, cats and children and is friendly with everyone! Because of the inconsistencies in her life, she may need refresher courses when it comes to basic training, just so she can have a full understanding of what's expected of her. We want her new family to be patient and understanding, as she did not ask for any of this to happen to her.

Kila would benefit from an active & involved family who will give her daily activities as well as lots of snuggles! She does well in her kennel and should settle into a new home pretty quickly.
