** In order to adopt an un-spayed kitty from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitty and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay surgery. You may need to bring the kitty back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay surgery**

Say hello to the delightful, Izzy. This enchanting young lady was found as a sweet, stray kitty, and cared for by a kind person until we had room for her at the shelter. Sweet Izzy has an estimated birthdate of 3/19/25, so she's barely one year young! This little lady with the gorgeous green eyes, and stunning coat has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. Izzy is an absolute doll who loves to give headbutts and snuggles to the people at the shelter. She loves to put her face up against yours and just purr away. She is a very gentle and laid back girl and never makes a fuss about anything. She LOVES to play and has endless amounts of energy, and her favorite toys are mice, wand toys and anything with feathers. Her most favorite thing though is spending times with her people though. Once she gets into her forever home, we suspect that she will charm her new family and continue to be the lovebug, and a wonderful sidekick for someone. This little lady also loves canned food and lickable treats, so we're putting in a request on her behalf, that her forever home provide her with those coveted favorites. She gets along great with other kitties and lived outdoors with other kitties. With this in mind, she will do great in a home with existing feline friends. She hasn't been around dogs since being with us, but she would likely do fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog. Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older.
