Sherman and Patsy were pulled out of a backyard breeder situation in San Bernardino.

They were living outside. In triple digit heat.

A good Samaritan stepped in and got them out, but by the time they made it to us, it was clear how much had been ignored.

Sherman came to us with a grade 3 heart murmur, painful skin infections, and ears that needed immediate attention. Like so many dogs used and then neglected, he had been left without even the most basic care.

But even then, he was gentle. Sweet. Quietly trusting.

Now Sherman is fully recovered and thriving in foster care.

His personality has completely come out. He is funny, affectionate, and genuinely one of the friendliest dogs you’ll meet. He loves people, wants to be part of everything, and brings a happy, easy energy wherever he goes.

He’s ready for his forever home.
