143 (I Love You) was found as a stray in Alabama. She was emaciated and sick with heartworm disease. Her ears had been brutally cut off and it was clear that she had birthed several litters. Once we rescued her, she was placed in a loving foster home and received the medical care and treatment she sorely needed.

After a few months of rehabilitation, 143 has blossomed into a healthy and happy girl. She is eager to love and becomes a wiggly puddle as soon as someone returns her affection. As she has proven in her foster home, she loves children and other dogs and is respectful towards cats.

143 is fostered in New Rochelle, NY, and is available for local or out-of-state adoption as long as the adopter can travel to meet her.
