Kyle - American Bulldog and German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Potomac, Maryland

Kyle is a 2-year-old Bulldog/German Shepherd mix who's 80 pounds of sweetness - with an emphasis on 80 pounds. He's an athletic, food-motivated, tennis-ball-obsessed guy who's never had any formal training, so right now he acts like an 80-pound puppy. The good news? He's eager to please, which means the right family and some consistent training will go a long way, fast.

Kyle is amazing in the car, sitting or lying politely in the back seat like an old pro - proof that when he's calm, he's really calm. He's incredibly sweet and friendly, loves being petted, and has settled into sleeping well in his crate with his foster.

Kyle does well with other dogs and would do best with a playmate who is used to big dogs (but he listens well when little dogs say no thank you). He loves his tennis ball and would love a yard to run and burn off energy - leash walks are fine after you remind him he doesn't get to hold the leash and that you are walking as together.

Underneath the puppy-in-a-big-dog's-body energy, Kyle is a super sweet, happy guy who just wants to be loved and taught how to succeed. If you've got the experience (or willingness to learn) to give an untrained big dog structure, Kyle will reward you with total devotion.
