Mustard - American Bulldog and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Port Richey, Florida

Mustard is a 2-year-old, 91-pound sweetheart with a big body, an even bigger head, and so much love to give! This handsome boy came to us from our friends at the Seminole Tribe, and after spending some time in a foster home, we've gotten to know just how wonderful he is.

Mustard is housetrained, does well in a crate, and settles into home life beautifully. He's affectionate and loves giving and receiving attention. He'll happily follow you from room to room to keep you company, but he isn't clingy. He loves a good cuddle, then he's perfectly content entertaining himself with one of his favorite Nylabones.

Speaking of Nylabones, enrichment is definitely the way to Mustard's heart. This big guy does best when he has appropriate things to keep his body and brain busy, whether that's a walk, playtime, puzzles, a Nylabone, or some quality time with his people. If you forget, Mustard may take it upon himself to redecorate. Shoes and socks have been known to mysteriously relocate around the house. He doesn't chew them, he just apparently has opinions about where they belong.

And like many big, jowly dogs, Mustard believes drinking water should be a full-body experience. Expect wet jowls, a trail of drips, and the occasional complimentary slip-and-slide after a visit to the water bowl. A strategically placed towel is highly recommended.

And his tail? It basically never stops wagging. Fair warning, though: it's long, powerful, and fully capable of clearing a coffee table if you're not paying attention.

Mustard appears to be dog-friendly, but a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings is required. Because of his size and play style, we do not recommend a home with small dogs. Cats, however, are definitely not his cup of tea, so Mustard needs a cat-free home.
