Senior Nena's Freedom Ride



This sweet senior girl made it out of PCAC this week... and she is so worth it.



Nena didn't come to us in easy shape.

She has a very large mass that has ruptured and she is scheduled for surgery Monday 4/6/26. We don't know exactly what it is yet — we just know she deserves a chance.



She came into Animal Control wearing a rabies tag and ID tag... but the phone number is worn off. We wonder all the things.

At some point, she was someone's baby.



And now... she's ours.



We are going to love her and make sure she knows comfort and safety — no matter what her future holds.



But we can't do it alone...
