Meet APRIL this SATURDAY, JUNE 13 from 12-3PM at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!

SATURDAY, JUNE 13 from 12 to 3PM: ADOPTION DAY at SUTHERLANDS, located at 16665 W 151st St, Olathe, KS 66062. Come see us and find your new best friend! We will be there with adoptable dogs and Meowy Matchmakers will be bringing adoptable cats.

SATURDAY, JUNE 13 from 12 TO 3PM: BARKS & BBQ event at RAWHIDE HARLEY DAVIDSON located at 725 N Rawhide Dr, Olathe, KS 66061. Rawhide Harley is hosting this free event with BBQ, cold drinks, and music. Bring your four-legged companions, there will be special treats for your dogs, water stations to keep them refreshed, and lots of opportunities for them to make new canine friends. APRIL is a super sweet baby hippo! She's a very friendly and affectionate girl who loves attention. She is light hearted and silly. April is good with other dogs. She is 2 years old and she weighs 60 lbs.


ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
