SATURDAY, MAY 30 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!

How adorable is this little girl??!! PENNY is a 5 month old Bull Terrier/Shepherd mix pup. She is a fun-loving, happy girl and she loves people! Penny is super affectionate and loves attention. She's got puppy energy and she's a playful girl. She is good with other dogs.

Penny currently weighs 35 lbs.


ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
