Meet Scobby!

Scobby is a high-energy, 51lb, 2-year-old, Alaskan Malamute who is ready to find a family to call his own. Through no fault of his own, he was surrendered to the shelter and is now hoping for a fresh start with people who will love him forever.

According to his previous owner, Scobby gets along well with other dogs and does great with children of all ages, making him a wonderful candidate for an active family. He hasn't been around cats, so his compatibility with feline friends is unknown.

Scobby is comfortable spending time in a crate, which can be a great tool as he settles into a new home. He is not yet housetrained, so he'll need a patient family willing to help him learn a consistent routine. With positive reinforcement, structure, and plenty of opportunities to succeed, he has the potential to make great progress.
