Hi, I'm Bud!

I'm a 2-year-old American Akita mix, tipping the scales at 59 lbs of love. Life dealt me a rough hand when my last owner abandoned me, but some wonderful people took me in and gave me a fresh start. I'm getting settled in and I'm ready to find my forever home!

A little about me:

I'm neutered, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped — my new humans took great care of me

I LOVE playing catch and I'll happily play with any toy you hand me

I'm a total snuggle bug — I crave affection and just want to be near my people

I do well with other dogs and love to play, though I'm still working on my manners around cats and cows (a fenced yard would help me stay out of trouble!)

I'm currently learning leash manners with my harness

Since my current family is helping me heal, I'll come to you with all my vet records, my microchip info, and even a Fi Mini GPS tracker, so you can always find me.

I'm hoping to find my forever humans soon — the kind who'll give me space to run, love to give, and patience while I learn the ropes.
