Meet Flora the Adora(ble)!

Some cats are sweet. Some cats are playful. Some cats are cuddly. Flora somehow manages to be all three wrapped up in one adorable little tuxedo package.

With her bright green eyes, perfect black-and-white coat, and the cutest little beauty mark on her nose, Flora has a face that is impossible to forget. She is as pretty as she is precious, and she has a personality to match.

Flora is a total lover girl. She absolutely adores being with her people and will happily melt into your arms when you pick her up. She loves resting her little head on your shoulder while you carry her around, soaking up kisses, gentle pets, and all the love you have to give. The best part? As soon as you start petting her, she begins to purr—but she is so quiet you can barely hear it. Instead, you feel the soft little rumble against your hand, like she is quietly saying, Thank you. It is one of the sweetest things ever.

If you stop petting her before she is ready, do not worry—she will politely ask for more with the cutest little headbutt. She is affectionate without ever being demanding and simply loves sharing life with her favorite humans.

Flora also has an adorably playful side. She loves pouncing on her toys, burrowing under blankets for surprise attacks, and chasing her own tail like it is the most exciting thing she has ever seen. Watching her entertain herself is guaranteed to make you smile.

When playtime is over, she is perfectly content lounging in a sunny window, watching birds flutter by, people stroll past, or keeping an eye on the lizards outside. She is the perfect mix of playful kitten energy and peaceful companion.

Treats? Oh, Flora knows exactly what that crinkle means. Shake the treat bag and shell come trotting over as fast as those little paws can carry her, ready to collect her well-deserved snack.

She is also wonderfully easy to live with. Flora has been around both dogs and cats in her foster home and takes it all in stride. She is friendly, accepting, and never feels the need to be the center of attention. She is simply happy to coexist, making herself right at home wherever her people are.

Flora is not a big talker either. Instead of constant meows, she communicates with gentle headbutts, sweet little looks, and quiet purrs you can feel more than hear. It is a soft, peaceful kind of love that is impossible not to fall for.

While currently in a loving foster home in Houston, Texas this cat is available for transport to stops in UT, ID, OR, WA, VA, PA, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, OH, IN, IL, WI, MN & Canada (Canadian adopter must pick up closest U.S stop unless traveling to NS)! Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you!

The adoption fee is $375 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.
