Meet Gatewood!

Gatewood is a handsome 1-year-old boy who has spent far too much of his young life waiting for someone to choose him. He had been living in a shelter since February, watching the days and months pass by without finding his way home. When we learned about him, we knew he deserved a change of scenery, so we pulled him into rescue and promised him something better.

And now that Gatewood is in foster, he is absolutely thriving!

This sweet boy is showing everyone just how much love he has to give. He loves other cats, enjoys having feline friends around, and has turned out to be quite the cuddle bug with his people, too. After spending so long in a shelter environment, seeing him relax into foster life and soak up affection has been incredibly special.

At only a year old, Gatewood has his whole life ahead of him. He’s ready for sunny windows, cozy beds, feline friends, plenty of cuddles, and a family who will make sure he never has to wonder where he belongs again.

Gatewood has already done enough waiting. Now it’s his turn to be someone’s cat.
