Meet Catfish! Seven years old, stripe-for-stripe handsome, and built like a loaf of bread with a personality to match—Catfish is here to steal your heart without even trying.
This ruggedly charming tabby came to us during a difficult time after the loss of his beloved person. He arrived alongside several other cats from his previous home, and since settling into foster care, we’ve learned something pretty special about him: Catfish absolutely LOVES other cats.
He doesn’t just enjoy having feline friends around—he genuinely seems to seek out their company. Even better, he’s incredibly respectful of their boundaries. His foster has two cats who aren’t particularly interested in making new friends, and Catfish has been wonderful about reading their cues and giving them space when they want it. We would absolutely love to see this sweet boy end up in a home with other kitties to keep him company.
And when he isn’t making feline friends, Catfish is busy being an absolute lovebug with his humans. He is the sweetest boy and a serious lap cat. Give him the opportunity to curl up with you, and he is more than happy to settle in and make himself comfortable.
At seven years old, Catfish has moved beyond most of the kitten chaos. He’s here for the good stuff: dinner served on time, a cardboard box that is somehow better than the expensive bed next to it, a cozy lap, some feline companionship, and a human who appreciates a good dramatic flop.
Catfish is the kind of guy who makes a house feel like home. He’s sweet, affectionate, adaptable, wonderful with other cats, and ready to love a new family without making a big production out of it.
If you’re looking for a laid-back tabby gentleman who pays his rent in lap cuddles, headbutts, purrs, and excellent cat manners, Catfish might just be your man.
