Fable (Winchester) - Tortoiseshell Cat for Adoption in Luling, Texas

Fable is a 8 month old Tortie who is full of spunk! Her favorite things include playing with toys, chasing her sister around the house, and finding stuff to get into! She is shy at first but once you gain her trust, she loves to sleep on your chest and be patted like a baby. She is from a pregnant stray in Texas and was born in foster care in December 2025.

However, we recently learned that Fable is FIV+ from birth. The good news is FIV is a very manageable disease and is not a death sentence. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus just requires adopters to maintain the cats health over the years including keeping FIV+ cats inside, up to date on vaccines, and away from toxins. FIV+ cats are only a risk to other household cats if they fight, scratch, or cause wounds to other cats. Otherwise, we recommend Fable lives with no other cats or with FIV+ cats.
