Juniper is a little over a year and is one of the sweetest, calmest, cuddlies cats you will meet. She was previously pregnant stray cat found on a road in Texas and gave birth to 6 kittens in a foster home. Our rescue has witnessed her loving spirit in raising her babies over the past few months but unfortunately, it was discovered that her and her babies are FIV+. The kittens got the virus from Juniper. The good news is FIV is a very manageable disease and is not a death sentence. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus just requires adopters to maintain the cats health over the years including keeping FIV+ cats inside, up to date on vaccines, and away from toxins. FIV+ cats are only a risk to other household cats if they fight, scratch, or cause wounds to other cats. Otherwise, we recommend Juniper lives with no other cats or with FIV+ cats.
Juniper loves napping, playing with small toys, cuddling with her babies, and walking up to strangers! She is one of the most trusting cats you'll meet, despite all she has been through.
Our rescue is based in Texas but we have AC climate controlled van transport partners that can successfully transport to you! Please complete an application or call us at 830-875-0605 if you'd like to learn more about Juniper or her babies.
