Introducing KATE... DOB est 4/17/2025, female, tortie, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped...

KATE and her brother OLLIE (rare male tortie) were rescued from a local trailer park when they were very small. While in their foster home, they both developed wet FIP, which required 3 months of treatment and 3 months of observation. They're now through their observation stage, healthy, and ready for their Forever Home! KATE is a very sweet girl who can initially be standoffish toward other cats. She just needs to be a little dramatic first (she is a tortie, after all!) - once she's given a little time to adjust, she'll decide she wants to be friends, and soon enough you'll find her playing and snuggling with them. Given her rough start, she is understandably shy, but if you give her some time and space, she turns into a lovebug who will climb into your lap and demand petting. When she's not demanding attention, she loves to play - she has lots of favorite toys, including springs, rattly mice, ping pong balls, and just about anything with catnip in it. She'll chase toys if you toss them for her, and if you're lucky she'll even play a couple of rounds of fetch (but loses interest and wanders away after a little while.) She and her brother OLLIE are a bonded pair and must be Adopted Together. They’ll make such a fabulous addition to some lucky home!
