Beagle and Basset Hound Dogs Available for Adoption in Fremont, Ohio

DeeDee is a 6 year old Basset Hound/Beagle mix weighing 34 pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender. DeeDee is a sweetheart! She is very affectionate,playful and smart. Favorite toys are tennis balls and stuffies. She knows commands sit, shake (both paws), dance, up and fetch. She loves to go on walks and follow her nose while doing great on a leash. When not playing or exploring she'll be by your side or in your lap, used to being on the furniture. Good with other dogs, previously lived with a larger dog. Great wtih bathtime but hates her nail trims. Does well on car rides. Crate trained. Is a chewer when stressed. Housebroken.

Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00.

Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
