Mochi, 3 years old, is very affectionate and loves being around people. She wants to be close to you and will follow you around the house when you are doing chores. She will sleep on the back of the couch next to you and purr for hours.

She has been amazing with our 7 year old autistic son, she sleeps on his pillow and will come running when he cries. He has some pretty big meltdowns and those can make her keep her distance, but she just sits out of the way and observes until he is done. She does surprisingly well with my son but I know she would really enjoy kids that are a little more respectful and intuitive.She enjoys playing hide and seek or peek a boo around the hallway, and is very into the laser pointer.

She has sensitive skin, I am trying out some new food for it as she has some skin issues right now. She is very allergic to fleas so we have been trying to keep up on her flea meds even if we don't see anything. She can get a little sassy, but is only wanting some space, usually when she gets overstimulated or her skin is irritated.

Mochi is indoor only but we have taken her on a few walks on the leash/harness and she enjoyed it. She would love another kitty that has a similar play ethic, our senior cat was always annoyed with her wanting to play and when Mochi would get bored she would pester the older cat.

She has spent a little time around dogs and did not seem alarmed by them, they were pretty well behaved though and didn't chase her so she might need extra time adjusting to a more curious dog. I really think Mochi would be an amazing companion to anyone, she just enjoys being there with you and loves any affection you can give her. ochi lives in Salem with her family and her rehoming fee is $50. Mochi is an indoor only kitty.
