Mattie is a very sweet senior cat (16 years young!) who has spent her life in a loving, stable home. She previously lived with another Somali companion, and after his passing, remained devoted to her owner—who sadly can no longer care for her due to dementia.

Mattie has a calm, gentle nature and enjoys the simple things in life. She loves basking in sunny windows, watching the world go by, and relaxing in a quiet space. She also still has a playful side—she enjoys her cat pole and will happily chase small balls when the mood strikes. She is not a lap cat and prefers to be quietly near her person.

Mattie eats soft food and would thrive in a peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved.

Mattie lives in Portland and her rehoming fee is $75. Mattie is indoor only.
