**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**
***Everest and Vale are a bonded pair of siblings, and must be adopted together.
Everest is a floofy ginger boy from the same litter as Vale and is bonded to her. While he might seem shy/timid at first, he is anything but! He prefers observing his surroundings before jumping into anything himself, and usually follows Vales lead.
If youre patient with him and give him time to come out of his shell, you will be greeted by a personality completely opposite his initial one.
Everest is an extremely playful kitten who loves chasing toys, exploring new corners, and occasionally even bringing toys back like a tiny retriever. Once he relaxes, he becomes very interactive and enjoys being part of whatever youre doing.
If he sees you preparing his food, be ready to feed him a few bites from your hand as he loves being hand-fed; the perfect way for him to bond to the hand that feeds him!
Everest thrives with other cats and feels most confident when he has a friend nearby. Sister Vale has been a source of comfort and leadership, and the two make up a colourful duo. Allow Everest the space and time to settle down, surround him with love and yummy food, then watch him blossom into the magic that is an orange cat!
Would you like to make Everest and Vale a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
