Meet Persimmon! This absolutely gorgeous 9-month-old short-haired orange tabby girl is ready to find the forever family she deserves! And trust us, once you meet her, those big, dark eyes are going to steal your heart!

Persimmon came to us when she was just a baby and faced a pretty big battle when she developed FIP. Thankfully, FIP is no longer the death sentence it once was! This brave girl completed three months of treatment followed by three months of observation, and we're thrilled to share that Persimmon has officially checked out as a healthy girl!

Now she's ready to trade her medical journey for a lifetime of love, cuddles, and happy memories!

She's a love bug! When Persimmon wants attention, she'll walk right up to you, place her little paws on you, and give you the sweetest meow to let you know it's time for pets. How can anyone resist that?!

She's a world-class cuddler! Whether it's curling up beside you or snuggling right on top of you, Persimmon is perfectly happy being your little sleeping companion. Personal space? She's not entirely convinced that's necessary!

She's got something to say! If she's not asking for pets, she might just be chatting you up about her day. And honestly, we're pretty sure everything she has to say is adorable!

She's playful, too! When she's not busy loving on her humans or catching up on beauty sleep, you'll find her playing with her feline friends.

And let's talk about that gorgeous orange coat! Female orange cats are less common than males, making this girl an extra-special find! And while we won't promise she doesn't have a little orange-cat silliness hiding somewhere, Persimmon's biggest personality traits are sweetness, affection, and cuddles!

Because Persimmon can find lots of people and hands a little stressful, we strongly encourage submitting your application ahead of time. This helps us work toward arranging a quieter, more comfortable introduction so she can show you her sweet personality without feeling overwhelmed.
