WELCOME KAY...

This sweet gal was found wandering on a hiking trail in the woods. She kept following a family all the way to their car as she was trying to get help for herself. Emaciated, dehydrated, fleas and a damaged ear from frostbite as she was obviously out during cold weather. It was also was noted by our veterinarian that Kay had had kittens not too long ago. Were they out there now motherless? Had something happened to them already in the woods? Or was this poor momma intentionally dropped off out there after taking her kittens away or when someone no longer wanted to care for her? All of these are disheartening scenarios and weigh heavily on a rescuer's mind. What we know for sure is now Kay needs our help and she will be safe and cared for here at Gregory’s until she finds her forever home - if you've landed here and are reading this, perhaps you were meant to find her and for her to find you!

Kay is the sweetest little lady you'll ever meet. She's tired and weary from her time outdoors so she's been doing a lot of resting as you might imagine. But even in her less active state, we can tell she is all about love and affection. She would be the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a gentle lap cat. A cat that is happy just to be near you. Happy to be indoors and to have good food to eat. And who knows, maybe she'll end up being playful and curious but even if she didn't, she's pretty perfect just as she is now.

Please come meet her.

Kay has an approx. DOB of 9/10/2023.

P.S. - Kay has the most unique pattern on her ears, they are spotted! You'll have to come meet her in person to see how adorable this is. :)
