WELCOME ASTER...

This sweet gal was part of a TNR effort and she needed some help, a place to land. Trapped in January (2026) she started becoming friendly with her feeder at his home, he’s old school and doesn’t believe in cats being indoors. His house was the trapping area so she got used to the TNR handler coming around and started to greet her as well, she allowed pets, she would purr, and she would rub on her. She slept on their porch furniture and would meow to go inside. Sure, life is great outside now when the weather is nice, but she’s already survived a winter outdoors when she was a kitten and the handler, as well as GGOH, do not think it’s fair for her to have to live outside indefinitely. Because there are many strays in this area the handler offered the whole neighborhood free deck boxes, coolers, weather protected feeding stations- no one will accept. They don’t want the cats around even though it was explained you can’t just NOT feed them. They live there and this is their home. The home Aster was living around would not let her in and therefore, she was removed and is now given the chance for an indoor life and the safety she deserves. Let’s find this gal a loving furever home to call her very own.

Aster is as we said, very sweet. She's also very gentle so would do great in a home with younger children. She's shown herself to be great with other cats and acclimated quite quickly to her new indoor environment. Dogs are an unknown but we suspect with proper introductions she would do just fine. Aster really is a great cat and we're excited to show her off and help her find her new home and family. Stop in soon!

Aster has an approx. DOB of 9/20/2024.
