Pixie - Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Mission Viejo, California

Meet Pixie! Spunky • Sweet • Playful • Affectionate Pixie is a spunky little ball of fur who’s ready to steal your heart! This beautiful gray-and-white tabby may be petite, but she has a personality that’s larger than life. Pixie was the runt of her litter, but don’t let her small size fool you—this little girl has the heart and energy of a lion! When Pixie first meets someone new, she can be shy and a little cautious. She likes to take her time getting to know you and making sure she feels safe. She may hang back at first and quietly observe everything around her before deciding she’s ready to join in. Patience and a gentle approach are the way to Pixie’s heart. Once Pixie realizes she can trust you, you’ll get to see the wonderful little girl hiding behind that initial shyness. Her confidence begins to blossom, and her playful, affectionate personality comes shining through. Earning Pixie’s trust is something truly special—once she chooses you, she forms a wonderful bond and will become your devoted little best friend. Pixie loves the company of other cats, which also helps her feel comfortable and secure. She especially loves spending time with her momma, Autumn. Having Autumn nearby gives Pixie companionship and confidence, and the two would make a wonderful pair for someone looking to welcome two special girls into their family. Once she’s comfortable, Pixie is always ready for a game of tag, some playful fun, or a cozy cuddle after a busy day. She loves her people, too, and her affectionate side really comes out when she feels safe. She’ll happily curl up in your lap, purring contentedly while you stroke her soft fur. Pixie would thrive with a family who understands that the best relationships sometimes take a little time to grow. Give this sweet girl the patience, security, and love she needs, and she’ll reward you with her trust, affection, playful spirit, and a very special friendship. Could you be the person who gives Pixie the time she needs to blossom? Apply to adopt Pixie—or Pixie and Autumn together—at southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application.
