Dulce - American Shorthair and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Mission Viejo, California

Dulce is a beautiful classic tabby kitten with striking bull’s-eye markings. Her coat is rich with beautiful, dark shades of brown that give her a warm, distinctive appearance. She also has adorable spots on her belly, suggesting she may have some Bengal in her ancestry—which could help explain her love of jumping and athletic play.

Dulce was left at a veterinarian’s office our rescue frequently uses. The vet reached out to us for help, and one of our fosters welcomed her into a home with other kittens so she would have friends to play with.

Dulce likes people and will greet you when you enter the room. She isn’t one to immediately jump into your lap—she waits for you to pick her up and put her there. But bring out a fishing-pole toy and watch her go! Dulce is an athletic little hunter who loves leaping through the air to grab her ribbons and proudly hang onto her “catch.”

She gets along well with kittens and adult cats and would be happiest with a friendly feline companion. We don’t know if she has ever lived with a dog, but she may do well with a cat-friendly dog and a proper introduction.

Dulce is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested negative for FeLV/FIV.
