Bandit is one handsome golden boy—and he's every bit as charming as he is gorgeous!

This fluffy 1year-old is a wonderful people cat who loves to lounge, socialize with his humans and purr his way through a good petting session. Once Bandit gets to know you, he'll want to be wherever you are, happily keeping you company and enjoying being part of your everyday life.

He's an easygoing gentleman with excellent litterbox manners and a big personality tucked inside all that beautiful fluff. His favorite things include hanging out with his people, being petted, silver vine sticks and his collection of stuffed-animal toys.

Bandit does have one very important special need:

Bandit has a strong attraction to rubbery and foam objects and has twice swallowed pieces of things he was chewing, resulting in abdominal obstruction surgeries. His previous family discovered that he will seek out rubbery items—including toys, shoes, silicone items and even a washing-machine gasket!

Because another ingestion could be extremely serious, Bandit needs a home where his people are prepared to be exceptionally diligent about keeping potentially dangerous objects safely out of reach. This isn't something his adopters can simply watch for occasionally—it needs to be part of everyday life with Bandit.

For this reason, we are looking for an adult home or a home with older, responsible children (12+), where toys, craft supplies, rubber items, cords and other tempting objects can be kept securely stored.

Bandit would do best without dogs. His history with other cats is limited, although he previously lived peacefully with his brother. We would consider a friendly resident cat with a slow, thoughtful introduction, but Bandit is also perfectly happy to be your one-and-only feline companion.

If you're looking for a gorgeous, affectionate boy who wants to be your constant companion—and you're willing to make the commitment necessary to keep him safe—Bandit may just be your Golden Boy.

You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).

NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility.

Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved. Please ask questions if you're interested in any of our cats
