Puff Daddy is a kind, gentle guy who has a lot of potential under his glorious coat of long, luscious fur. He enjoys hanging out with his trusted human and relaxing next to them. He also relishes having his ear scratched. If you let him, he will sleep with his head nestled in your hand.
Puff Daddy showed up on the front porch of his foster home. After neutering him, his foster mom welcomed him into her house and worked with him for several months. (The foster home includes dogs, and Puff Daddy gets along with them.) Quiet and independent, Puff Daddy is bashful at first, but he does warm up. He would prefer a quiet home where he can take his time getting to know his humans. (He is shy and a bit skittish. He does not like loud noises or sudden movements.) He just needs somebody to give him a chance at warming up and loving them.
His future family should be prepared to invest time in grooming Puff Daddy's beautiful, long fur, to prevent matting. Puff Daddy's foster just took him to the groomer for a lion cut, and he seems to appreciate being petted and loved on more, now that the unbrushable mats his coat had developed have been removed. (He still looks just as majestic in this summery fashion.)
We estimate he is between 2 and 3 years old. Puff Daddy is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and will be microchipped before adoption.
