Say hello to Jill, born June 12, 2024, a sweet and gentle girl who has come a very long way and is now looking for a very special person to call her own. Jill was under-socialized when she was young, so learning to trust new people has taken time, patience and lots of love. She will need an adopter who understands that settling into a new home will be a gradual process and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Once Jill knows you, though, her wonderful personality truly shines! Her bedroom has always been her comfort zone, where she happily rolls over for pets, chases feet under the blankets and cuddles up at bedtime while purring away. She is also becoming more confident exploring the rest of the home and has discovered that the couch is another great place for pets and cuddles. Jill gets along well with other cats and would do especially well with a confident feline companion she can learn from. She is comfortable with dogs, as long as they are respectful around her. Jill would thrive in a quieter home with someone who is home more often than not and most importantly, has the patience and heart to continue helping her build confidence. She may take longer than some cats to fully settle in, but for the person willing to make that journey with her, Jill has the potential to become an incredibly loving and devoted companion.
