August 6th - Benjamin was found alone on a driveway in the extreme heat 7 weeks or so ago, dehydrated and fragile - about a week old no mom in sight. He was taken to a bottle feeder and he has thrived. He is now ready for adoption He has been flea treated, dewormed twice, received his 1st FVCRP vaccine and microchip. His booster vaccines then rabies are the responsibility of his new owner and must be completed prior to his neuter by AVA at 4 -5 months which is included in the $275 adoption fee. Benjamin is a very sweet, cuddly purr machine who can hold his own with a bossy small dog and the foster mom's cats. He MUST go to a home with another young cat or kitten to keep him company. It is recommended that he start out in a room with food, litter and toys until he adjusts to a new environment. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy.
