If there was ever a kitten that believed life should be split evenly between playtime and cuddle time, it's Triton Cove. One minute he's climbing to the very top of the cat tree like he's conquered Mount Everest, chasing toys across the room, and wrestling with his kitten friends. The next? He's climbing right into your lap, or even better, onto your chest. Purring himself to sleep like that's exactly where he was always meant to be. He has the sweetest personality, the cutest little orange face, and somehow manages to be both your tiny adventure buddy and your professional cuddle companion all at once.

Triton is believed to be approximately 2 months old and currently weighs barely 2 pounds. As with any rescue kitten, his exact breed is always a bit of a mystery, but our best guess is he's an orange tabby mix. Whatever combination created him also gave him a heart full of love, endless kitten curiosity, and a serious talent for making himself comfortable in your lap.

Like any kitten his age, Triton loves to play. Toys are one of his favorite things, and if there's a cat tower nearby, you can bet he'll be climbing it in no time. He loves exploring every corner of the house, chasing after anything that moves, and wrestling with his kitten friends until everyone's ready for a nap. He's curious, confident, and always ready to see what kind of fun comes next.

But what really makes Triton special is how much he loves to cuddle. As much as he enjoys playing, he's just as happy climbing into your lap or stretching out across your chest for a nap. His foster says he's a total cuddle bug, and it's one of their favorite things about him. He has that wonderful balance where he can happily entertain himself with toys and adventures, but the second you're ready to relax, he's more than happy to join you.

Triton is currently fostered with other kittens his age as well as adult cats, and he absolutely loves having feline friends around. Whether they're chasing each other through the house, climbing cat trees together, or curling up for a group nap afterward, Triton fits right in. He'd love another playful kitty companion in his forever home, but he'd also be perfectly happy as long as his family makes plenty of time for interactive play.

He's also growing up alongside dogs of all sizes, from a tiny 5-6 pound Pomeranian mix all the way up to a 120-pound Great Pyrenees, and he's done wonderfully with them. He's comfortable around the dogs and will even try to convince them to play with him. Every now and then one of the foster puppies catches him off guard by bouncing over unexpectedly, and Triton responds with one tiny dramatic kitten hiss and an arched back before immediately deciding everything is fine again. It's less ""I'm scary!"" and more ""Excuse me... a little warning next time, please.""

Triton is the kind of kitten that makes every day a little more fun. He'll keep you laughing with his playful antics, melt your heart when he falls asleep on your chest, and somehow convince you that whatever you were doing can wait just a few more minutes because... well... kitten cuddles are pretty important. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!

Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!

The adoption fee is $650 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2), FeLV vaccines (minimum of 2), Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
