Car Crash - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Columbia, South Carolina

Meet Car Crash!

Car Crash was just a tiny kitten when she was found on the side of the road. She came to us needing a safe place to land, and we truly believed the rescue would only be a short stop on her way to a forever home.

But somehow, that home never came.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and the tiny kitten we rescued has now grown up in the rescue. She has watched other cats come and go, get adopted, and start their lives with their families. And each time, Car Crash has been left behind, still waiting for her turn.

What makes it even harder is knowing just how much love this girl has to give.

Car Crash is incredibly cuddly, affectionate, and absolutely obsessed with being involved in whatever her people are doing. She is the definition of an inquisitive little sidekick. Taking a shower? Car Crash wants to supervise. Doing laundry? She’s coming with you. Opening the fridge? She absolutely needs to know what you have in there. Whatever you’re doing, Car Crash is convinced it should be a group activity.

She doesn’t just want a home — she wants to be part of someone’s life. She wants to follow you around, investigate your daily routine, curl up with you, and finally know what it feels like to have people who are hers.

Car Crash has spent her kittenhood waiting when she should have been growing up in a home, finding her favorite spot on the couch, sleeping beside her person, and learning all the little routines that make a family feel like family.

The rescue is the only life she has really known, and we don’t want to watch her grow up here any longer.

Car Crash survived being left on the side of the road. Now we’re hoping someone will finally show her that being rescued was only the beginning of her story — not the rest of it.

She has waited long enough. Car Crash deserves to go home.
