Esmeralda - Sphynx Hairless Cat Cat for Adoption in Medfield, Massachusetts

Esmeralda was recently transferred to us from an animal control facility. We are still getting to know her and will post more as we learn more. So far, she has been very sweet and friendly with our volunteers and the other cat she shares a room with.

Please research Sphynx cats if you are not familiar with them. They are very prone to HCM (Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy), a genetic heart disease that is the leading cause of early death in this breed, and they do need more care (weekly baths and ear cleaning, etc.) than other cats.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
