Posie/applications closed - Sphynx Hairless Cat Cat for Adoption in Medfield, Massachusetts

Update 9/19 - We have received many good applications for Posie and are no longer accepting new ones.

Posie is a very sweet, affectionate girl. Our vet estimates that she is between 3-5 years old. Although she has no fur, Sphynx cats need skin care, so we are looking for an adopter willing to give her regular baths. Posie previously lived in a home with another cat and dogs, so she could likely live with them again after proper introductions. She has been spayed and is up to date on vet care.

**If you aren't familiar with Sphynx cats, please research the breed before applying. They are very prone to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)—a genetic heart disease and the leading cause of early death in the breed—and typically require more specialized veterinary care than other cats.**

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
