Named after the Sunflower State, Kansas may have crossed state lines in name only-but she's hoping her journey ends in a forever home! Estimated to have been born around April 19, 2026, Kansas is a beautiful short-haired black and white kitten who looks just like her mama, while the rest of her siblings seem to have inherited their Siamese dad's good looks.

Kansas and her siblings came into rescue after being brought in from a feral colony, giving them the chance to leave outdoor life behind and find loving families of their own. While they all arrived a little shy and unsure of this new world, Kansas was the first to realize that people are actually pretty wonderful. She may still take a little time to warm up in new situations, but once she feels comfortable, she transforms into a total lovebug. Ear scratches and butt scratches are her absolute favorite, and she'll happily soak up every bit of affection you're willing to give.

Like any kitten, Kansas has a playful side, too. She loves spending her days wrestling with her siblings, chasing toys, and exploring everything around her. And if she hears a can of wet food being opened, you can count on her being first in line for dinner! She's a sweet, gentle girl who continues to grow more confident every day and is sure to blossom in a patient, loving home.
