Meet Ivy, a beautiful young brown tabby with an estimated birth date of July 19, 2025. Like the climbing plant she's named after, Ivy isn't one to burst into a room and demand attention. She prefers a slower approach, taking her time to settle in, observe her surroundings, and grow comfortable at her own pace.
Ivy and Snowy came from the same household initially. While the two are friendly with one another, they're independent enough to spend plenty of time doing their own thing. Whether they're related or simply longtime companions remains a mystery, but one thing is certain: Ivy takes comfort in the company of other cats.
Currently, Ivy is still feeling nervous in her foster home and is looking for a patient adopter who understands that trust isn't built overnight. She's the kind of cat who needs time, consistency, and a gentle environment where she can learn that she's safe. Because she feels so comfortable around other felines, Ivy should be adopted into a home with another friendly cat who can help her build confidence and show her the ropes.
Ivy may not be the cat who steals the spotlight on day one, but sometimes the most rewarding relationships are the ones that grow slowly. Watching a shy cat blossom, gain confidence, and choose to trust you is a special experience-and Ivy is worth the wait.
If you're the type of person who understands that good things take time, Ivy may be ready to put down roots in your home and grow into the companion she's meant to be.
