Blue - Senior looking for love - Siamese and Domestic Short Hair Cat Available for Adoption in Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Blue has been through more than most cats, and he’s still learning that the world can be a safe, gentle place.

He came to us after his previous owners sadly passed away. In that home, Blue kept mostly to himself, spending much of his time in the lower level and missing out on early socialization. Because of this, he’s very shy and unsure in new environments. Right now, he tends to shut down when he’s overwhelmed—but with time, patience, and consistency, he has already started showing small signs of progress.

Blue is also a special tripod kitty. Earlier in life, his leg became stuck in a chair and had to be amputated. Despite this, he gets around just fine and doesn’t let it define him.

Blue arrived with several other cats—Darlene, Twit, Steven, and Bass—which suggests he may be more comfortable around other calm cats, though he will still need slow introductions.

What Blue needs:

-A quiet, low-traffic home
-No dogs or young children
-An experienced, patient adopter who understands -shy or under socialized cats
-Someone willing to let him move at his own pace -and celebrate small victories

Blue may never be the kind of cat who greets you at the door—but for the right person, earning his trust will be incredibly rewarding. Watching him slowly come out of his shell and feel safe is the kind of bond that runs deep.
