Mars had a rough start, being rescued from an abandoned apartment with 19 other cats after being left behind by backyard breeders. He never really got to experience love or attention early on, but despite all that, his resilient spirit shines through every single day! Now that he knows hes safe, Mars is living his best cat life. He is utterly, completely obsessed with cat toys—especially anything packed with catnip—and will happily play the day away. When he's not busy playing, youll usually find him soaking up the sun in a window hammock, chilling on the top perch of a cat tree, or soaking up chin scratches and gentle pets once he trusts you. Because Mars missed out on early socialization, he can get a bit overstimulated sometimes, so hell do best with a patient human who reads his body language and lets him adjust at his own pace. Mars will do best as a solo cat where he can be the star of the show and keep all those glorious toys to himself! Just make sure you've got plenty of feather wands ready for interactive playtime to burn off his playful energy.

Mars is around 10 months old, neutered, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
