DESCRIPTION
Meet Jagger
Jagger is a young grey kitten, still under a year old, with a playful spark that shines through once she feels safe. She’s curious, energetic, and loves to explore her surroundings—on her own terms.
At this stage, Jagger is still a bit skittish with people. She’s likely had a rough start in life and may have experienced abuse or significant neglect, which has made her cautious around human touch. She does not bite or scratch, but she is not yet comfortable with handling or close physical affection.
Because of her history, Jagger is not expected to become a lap cat, and she may never be one—and that’s okay. She is looking for someone who understands that love can look like quiet coexistence, slow trust-building, and giving her the space she needs to feel safe.
What she does enjoy is play. Toys, movement, and environmental enrichment help her relax and show her personality. With time, patience, and a calm home, she may continue to grow more confident and interactive in her own way.
Ideal home for Jagger:
A quiet, stable environment
Patient adopters experienced with shy or semi-feral cats
No pressure for handling or affection
Possibly another calm, confident cat who can help model safe behavior
Jagger isn’t the cat who will curl up in your lap on day one—or maybe ever—but she is a cat who deserves safety, respect, and the chance to simply be herself. For the right person, watching her slowly come out of her shell will be its own kind of reward.
