Normy has quite the story — and now she truly needs a happy ending.

This sweet, older girl quite literally traveled her way into her current life... arriving on a nursery truck from somewhere near Lodi before settling into the yard of the kind people who’ve been caring for her ever since. What started as a surprise visitor turned into something much more — because Normy chose to stay close, and slowly showed everyone who she really is.

She’s gentle, tame, and deeply connected to her people. Though she’s been living as a “garden cat,” Normy has made it clear she wants more — she seeks out attention, stays close to home, and would love nothing more than a safe, cozy space indoors. She’s the kind of cat who chooses her humans, and once she does, she’s all in.

Unfortunately, they are moving in August and are unable to take her with them. After everything she’s been through, we don’t want Normy to be left behind or lose the only sense of stability she’s known. Her caretakers have gone above and beyond for her, even getting her a full dental cleaning last year — a reflection of just how special she is.

Normy is a bit of a special case — she’ll need someone patient, kind, and willing to give her the time she deserves to fully settle into indoor life. But for the right person, she offers something truly meaningful: quiet companionship, trust that’s been hard-earned, and the chance to change her life in a lasting way.
