Mochi is a 2-year-old Himalayan Mix made of affection and love. Found scared and matted in a parking lot, Mochi is now ready for a loving forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and adored.
Mochi is extremely people-oriented and wants to be wherever you are. He will rub against you, ask to sit on your lap, follow you from room to room like a devoted little shadow, talk to you all the time, make biscuits, head-bump you for affection, and get adorably excited about food.
Mochis ideal home is one where someone is home often and truly enjoys a clingy, affectionate, vocal cat who wants to be involved in everything. He is a big boy, but not overweight, so his future family should be comfortable with a heavier cuddle buddy who loves to be close. He has lots of energy and will need enough space, daily playtime, companionship, regular brushing for his long coat, and responsible meal management so he does not get overfed. Without enough attention or stimulation, he may meow at night to let you know he is feeling lonely or restless.
Mochi adores people, but he can get nervous around moving feet in very narrow hallways. When this happens, he may tap your foot with his paw to ask for space, but he does not hiss or use his claws. He would do best in a home with enough open space for him to move around comfortably, and with people who can handle him gently.
Like all ACR cats, Mochi is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites. He is negative for FIV and FeLV.
