James Bond
Adoption fee $225.00
Est DOB 8/2025
A few months ago, a charming neighborhood tuxedo cat with huge polydactyl paws decided to claim his rescuer's backyard as his home. He was named James (after James Bond) because of his incredibly handsome looks and suave personality. He was so loving and friendly, but clearly in need of care, so his rescuer brought him to the vet to get fixed and vaccinated.
During his visit, James tested positive for FeLV. This means he officially had to retire from the street life to stay safe and protect other neighborhood cats. He transitioned to being a full-time indoor cat and is absolutely loving every minute of it! His energy is up, his coat is super shiny, and he has never once asked to go back outside.
James truly enjoys the comforts of a soft bed, a big bowl of food, and a room full of toys. Every day when his rescuer comes home from work, James runs to greet them, purring loudly while demanding chin scratches. He genuinely seems so thankful to be safe inside.
The vet estimates he is only about one year old. He has so much life ahead of him, but unfortunately, he cannot stay in his current temporary setup. James deserves a chance at a long, happy life in a permanent, loving home. Because of his FeLV diagnosis, he needs to be an indoor-only cat and the only cat in the household or live with other FeLV+ cats. In the right environment, FeLV+ cats can live wonderful, healthy lives.
