Koen is a soft dove-grey boy with a white chin and chest, four white socks, and round amber eyes. His coat is thick and velvety -- though it's his sweet, outgoing personality that people notice first.

He is playful, curious, and endlessly up for whatever comes next. Koen explores everything, plays hard, and has never met a cardboard box he didn't want to get inside of. Watch him long enough and you'll catch his party trick: when something is just out of reach, he sits up on his back legs like a small meerkat to get a better look at it.

For all that energy, he is just as happy to be held. Koen loves a good cuddle and is very quick to purr -- it takes almost nothing to get him started.

Koen would do best in a home with another younger kitty for playtime and company. If you don't already have a companion for him, Koen is especially fond of his littermates Kiwi and Kererū -- although Kea or Kiri (his other littermates) would also be great options. He hasn't met a dog yet.
