Jax's glamour shots may look mundane, but we promise this is one exceptional cat in the purrsonality department! Jax came to the shelter as an injured stray with owner information. Unfortunately, his previous family was not in a position to keep him, so this premier snuggle bug will be starting over fresh at 5.5 years old. Fortunately for you, Jax is the bee's knees, so one lucky family will now get to love on him! (Just as long as they can keep him in the door-he has a reported dashing habit to watch out for.) Jax recovered well from his incident and has hopefully learned his lesson, but if not, he might be worth harness training!

Jax lived with multiple elementary aged children and did great with them, as well as with a dog and cat. He enjoyed playing with the dog, even! As we have proven in the shelter, he LOVES to be picked up and snuggled. His previous family described him as something of a potato at home overall. Just a laid-back lover who enjoys cuddles and a bit of playtime. Jax was reported to be a good mouser as well, so he's willing to clock in when it counts. Jax is a total catch (get it?) for anyone who wants a cat who loves love.
