Louis Santiago - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in York, Pennsylvania

You've heard the phrase "the blind leading the blind", right? This is one case where it's literal! Mongo (short for Mongoliensis, of course) and his sibling Louis Santiago are a bonded pair of brothers who came into the shelter sick when their owner couldn't care for them anymore. Unfortunately, both boys lost their eyes as a result of infection. Fortunately, blind cats can do everything a sighted cat can (yes, that includes stairs and litter boxes) and it won't keep them from living a good kitten life! Louis is first to leap into action with Mongo following his lead. Both enjoy playing with bell balls and wrestling one another. Louis is sweeter with us and likes to rub up while purring up a storm, but we have faith Mongo will get there with some confidence building!

Due to their background, Louis and Mongo have been around many cats and kittens but were not exposed to dogs or small children. They might take a bit longer to feel out other beings in their household since they aren't really sure where things are coming from, but the boys need only an understanding family and time to grow into their new life to truly thrive.
